Cork Mains City Rehab Project
This was a project that consisted of the following works through heavily trafficked streets through Cork City: Excavation of large sections of Roadway through the busy streets of Cork City while maintaining a reasonably steady flow of traffic throughout the works under our Traffic Management Set-up’s. This is a largescale housing development project consisting of over 130 separate units ranging from apartments to houses. Pipe Surgery on an 550mm DI W.Main under 25bar pressure Installation of 550mm DI Pipe Arrangement incl associated valves & chamber’s. Temporary Works Coordination Installation Removal Key Notes Completed at night during off peak hours adjacent to live dual carriageway. 10mm Tolerance on Pipework cut out which was 5.6m long. Deep Excavation & Auger Boring
7m Deep Civils Excavation Temporary Works Coordination Installation Removal Auger Boring of 450mm DI Sleeve under Dunkellin River in Craughwell Village 38m long. In-situ Concrete Works
This was a project that consisted of the following: Excavation of approx 700m2 of existing ground in order to construct 2Nr in-situ concrete walls, designed in order to retain the adjoining embankments. 3m High wall – 130m long. 5m to 2.5m stepped wall – 65m long. 42t of steel reinforcement tied and fixed into position.
